Why we publish our procedure

Brokers in our markets usually treat procedure as leverage: gs-reveal little, keep the counterparty guessing, stay in the middle of every exchange. We published ours on this site instead, including the list of offers we refuse to touch.

The reasoning is practical. The commodities we broker attract more fabricated offers than any other corner of trade, and every serious buyer has learned to assume the worst. When the procedure is public, a procurement team can check in 5 minutes whether we work the way they need us to. The ones who need broker-chain theatre disqualify themselves just as fast, which saves everyone the calls.

It also binds us. A published standard is one we cannot quietly drop when a tempting file arrives with paperwork that almost holds up. "Almost" is where the losses live in this business.

If you read the procedure and see a step your compliance team would tighten further, write to us. That conversation usually tells both sides more than a pitch would.
